BOWLES'S NEW MEDIUM MAP OF OXFORDSHIRE

An attractive copper line engraved map on paper by Emanuel and Thomas Bowen. Originally engraved for their "Atlas Anglicanus", the present example was published with "Bowles's New Medium English Atlas", published by Bowles and Carver, London 1785. There are panels of text describing both Oxford and the county.

Measures approx. 225 x 320 mm. Good condition.
