JERUSALEM.. An attractive copper line engraving on paper produced by Daniel Stoopendaal (1672-1726) for a Dutch Bible, Statenbijbel, the map was published circa 1700. A very decorative “Bird’s eye view” of Jerusalem surrounded by religious symbols, with an ornate elevation of Solomon’s temple at the upper border. Measures approx. 305 x 455mm.
