Detailed steel line engraved map on paper in elaborate 19th century gothic style. Originally produced to accompany Thomas Moule’s part work series “English Counties Delineated” published between 1830-36. Later the maps appeared in Barclay’s Dictionary. There are vignette views of Northampton, Peterborough Cathedral and Althorp House.

Measures approx 260 x 200 mm.  Good condition.
