STAFFORDSHIRE. 

A highly decorative copper line engraving on paper originally produced to accompany John Speed's "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine" published in 1611. The present map comes from the scarce Roger Rea edition, published circa 1662. A very desirable map of the County with Shields, Royal Arms and an inset plans of Stafford and Lichfield.
